Meet “Theresa”
Cajun Girl Candy was created by Theresa, a Louisiana born native. Theresa grew up eating what Cajun and Creole people call “Pecan Candy.” Other parts of the world know them as Pralines. The Pecan Candy, known in Louisiana, is known to have a creamy soft candy consistency, versus one of a caramel, chewy texture.
When Theresa could not get her hands on any Pecan candy, she decided to make her own. It was the beginning of Cajun Girl Candy. Not only did she make regular pecan candy, but also, she makes a variety of flavors and also Candied Pecans, Candied Peanuts, and Gourmet Pretzels.
